The Windsors is set to go back for a Coronation special

King Charles III will be officially crowned on 6 May in a ceremony of pomp and circumstance, followed by a more contemporary (though perhaps strangely starless) pop concert.

It's a good excuse for Channel 4's comedy The Windsors to create a return to television, three years since its last episode. Harry Enfield will reprise his role as the monarch for a coronation special, joined by his wife Camilla (Haydn Gwynne)  and his son, Prince William (Hugh Skinner). Even Harry (Tom Durant Pritchard) and Meghan (Kathryn Drysdale) will make a cameo — even though we don't know whether the real deal will attend or not.

There's no official word on when The Windsors will be back on Channel 4, though it's likely to be on the same week as the real coronation.

‘Concerned Citizen’ urges us to seriously think about our social values

Do we always trust what we consider we believe? That’s a good doubt, especially when we consider all of the implications deeply interested. It certainly affects who we are, how we spot ourselves and how we live our lives. But the ramifications carry wider considerations, too, such as our social values and how authentically we dwell up to them.

‘Supernova’ debates holding on vs. letting go

Knowing when to hold on and when to allow go can be a frustrating, anxiety-ridden exercise, especially under highly charged conditions. The feelings emotionally attached might even depart us emotionally paralyzed, unable to construct a decision in either direction, simply because we’re left overwhelmed and locked in place.

What was is like joining the cast?

It was wonderful. They’re a lovely family, it’s a real family environment. They’re such a wonderful, talented group of comedians and actors. It was wonderful. It was one of those ones where before I started I was a bit nervous, because it sounds quite daunting. But then as soon as I walked through the door everyone was so lovely and so nice to me and made me sense at home immediately. All my fears vanished almost immediately. It was great.

What can you tell us about what’s in store for Harry this series?

It’s a little bit exciting… so we’ve got Harry and Megan a petty further down the line. We’ve got a feud between Harry, Meghan, Wills and Kate and we’ve got the whole storyline between them, the Fab Four. There’s more of Harry and Meghan’s animation together.

Any romance with Pippa…?

Well Pippa is definitely advocate and in true soap style everything’s slightly fictitious but… it’s up in the air. She’s around and they do spot each other but you’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Series overview

The series is based on Adam Kay’s award-winning international multi-million selling memoir of the same name, which has sold over million copies to date and has been translated into 37 languages. The series, which is created, written and executive produced by Kay himself, rejoices in the laugh-out-loud highs, while pulling no punches in its depiction of the gut-wrenching lows of life on a gynaecology and obstetrics ward.

Blisteringly funny and frequently heartbreaking, This Is Going To Hurt remains a stark reminder of the vital role played by the NHS.

Kay’s diaries, scribbled in secret after endless days, sleepless nights and missed weekends, tell the unvarnished truth of life as a doctor working in obstetrics and gynaecology. At times hilarious, at times devastating, This Is Going To Hurt is a 7x45’ series following Adam (Ben Whishaw - A Very English Scandal, Skyfall, London Spy), a surgeon who we find wending his way through
