The United Nations Society Tourism Organization&#;s global wine tourism conference in Mendoza, Argentina was full of contrasts as you might expect in a steep desert region that is punctuated by isolated vine-filled green oases.  The morning sessions featured conventional conference formats &#; speakers, panels, Powerpoint slides, dark rooms, coffee breaks (and really good simultaneous translation &#; thanks for that!). Hardly Working?

The afternoon and evening session moved out of the conference center and into the wineries, so that international participants could take in the landscape, marvel at the wonderful winery architecture,  appreciate the warm hospitality, sample the many winery experiences, and of course enjoy food and wine as any wine tourist would.

Common types of unclaimed property are savings or checking accounts, stocks, dividends, checks that possess not been cashed such as payroll, certificates of deposit, unclaimed insurance benefits, insurance premium refunds, and the like.

Argentina is a very active gay destination with a vibrant community. Apart from this, it is a country that marches in the vanguard as regards claiming for the recognition of people’s  rights without distinction of religion, skin color or sexual orientation.

The province of Mendoza, located at the foot of Los Andes Mountain Range, is known, together with Buenos Aires, as one of the most same-sex attracted friendly places and it has become one of the new favorite destination for the gay collective that visits South America. A proof of this is the Gay National Vintage Festival celebrated every year attracting people from all over the world.

Mendoza is also the birth place of Argentinean Wines and one of the most beautiful places in Argentina. As it is at the foot of the Andes, its landscape always has the giant and imposing mountains, one of them the mythical Aconcagua, as its background. This, combined with the always sunny days and the magical vineyards, creates a perfect environment to enjoy relax, stop and amusement.

GAY ENGAGEMENT AMONG WINEYARDS

Argentina is a very active and vibrating gay community. Apart from this, it is a country that marches in the vanguard as regards claiming for the recognition of people’s rights without distinction of religion, skin color or sexual orientation.

As regards this, Argentina’s government has recently passed the rule nº 26, (Egalitarian Matrimony Law), which modifies the Civil Code and allows marriage between two persons of the same sex, acquiring the same rights and obligations as heterosexual marriages.  

In this way, Argentina is now in the list of the only 10 countries in the world that has legalized gay matrimony.
For this reason, we invite all the same-sex attracted couples in he nature that would like to make their union legal through matrimony, to execute it in Argentina, especially in Mendoza, known, together with Buenos Aires, as one of the most gay friendly places in the country, which has also become the favorite touristic destiny for the gay community that visits South America.
