In September Instagram pushed me a post by Travel Gay, a website listing the best gay bars, nightclubs, saunas, spas, beaches, shops and more, along with interesting travel ideas and fabulous offers. There I saw the undated post (date your articles and posts, people) LGBTQ+ Solo Travel: the Foremost Cities to Visit? by Adam Reid. Being a solo gay traveller, it caught my attention.
Now, while Im still very much a homosexual, it has been a while since I last travelled solo. My last solo trip was Tel Aviv in Since then, Ive travelled with Danny, Oriol, Steve, Philippe, Nicolas, Thanh, my sister Florence. In I wrote SINGLES DAY | Why everyone should tour alone sometimes and reading it back I experience the cringe but I stand by its content.

Just as Betsy Ross, sewed the first American flag, to represent release from British oppression,Gilbert Baker, (yes another Baker) first
designed the flag in for the San Francisco Pride event called the Gay Independence Celebration.
- The design was to represent lgbtq+ and lesbian diversity around the world.
But, dont think he just wanted to make something beautiful like rainbows and unicorns.
The colors are symbolic as follows:
Red Stands for life
Orange stands for healing
Yellow Stands for the sun
Green Stands for nature
Blue stands for harmony
Purple stands for the soul
The Purple stripe is sometimes replace with a black stripe for
masculinity or leather pride.
Originally the flag had an aqua and a pink stripe
but has been simplified to the flag commonly used today.
