Former Love & Hip-Hop star Benzino is rumored to be dating trans actress/model Shauna Brooks. According to The Jasmine Brand, recorded conversations between Benzino and Shauna leaked online. In the clip, a man's voice is heard telling Brooks that it “looks bad” for him to own a relationship with a trans chick and he will be judged for it.

Benzino has released a statement to XXL in response to Shauna Brooks' claims that he pursued the gender nonconforming model sexually.
"It&#x;s obvious this animal is doing anything to stay relevant and for clout," the remark starts. "First he said I was trying to hide the fact that we were intimate and in a relationship, and now he said we never were intimate and only spoke on the phone. Also I wish people with common perception to recognize that he tagged Mona Scott begging to be on Love and Hip Hop. One more thing I crave people to notice is that 50 [Cent] erased everything he posted about me off his page. He never does that. Listen, I been in this culture we phone game for 40 + years and I passion the culture. Benzino Pleads With LGBTQ Community to Stop Flirting With Him
Benzino has a message for the LGBTQ people after claiming he's been getting a lot of unwanted attention recently.
On Friday (March 31), Benzino issued a statement on Twitter pleading with all non-heterosexual identifiers to quit with the compliments and flirtatious activity.
"Attention to all in the LGBTQ, abcd!!!" Benzino posted on Twitter. "I respect y&#x;all&#x;s movement and your choice to be who you wish to be BUT STOP THE WEIRD SH*T WITH THE COMMENTS AND FLIRTING. I&#x;M NOT F**KING FLATTERED BECAUSE I&#x;M NOT GAY!! RESPECT THAT S**T AS I RESPECT WHO YOU ARE!!"
Apparently people thought he was lying about the flirting, to which he shared screenshots on Twitter of the comments he received on Twitter. "Wtf I gotta rest to y'all for? Yall weird asf! There's WAY more but twitter only allows 4 pics at a time.
