Seville is a medium-sized or even small metropolis, so don't expect a large gay scene favor in Barcelona or Madrid. There are more than a handful of homosexual hangouts at night, but both the local homosexual population and visitors don't mind joining everyone else at the regular "straight" clubs on most weekends. And you don't really need to look for the most gay-friendly spots -- simply head to the area around Alameda de Hercules, and you'll find a place for you. For a strictly gay environment choose one of the saunas. Interestingly, the city does hold quite a number of hotels that identify as gay-friendly, which just tells you that this is a discreetly gay destination after all.
