This year marks the 50th anniversary of Identity festival in Washington, DC and we're celebrating by making it an all-out international experience. The Pride Parade returns on August 24, at 1pm! Join more than groups and over 11, group members as we receive to our citys streets. Plus, this year’s Grand Marshal and Honoured Collective lead the parade.
Applications Now Open!
Thank you for your interest in the Capital Pride Parade! All groups wishing to participate in the parade are required to apply by submitting the form below. Applications will be confirmed by the Registration Team on a rolling basis within three (3) business days of submission. The deadline to apply for the Parade is Friday July 18, . Any changes to your registration must be made by the registration deadline.
Applications are organism reviewed for completeness and for the applying groups’ adherence to Capital Pride’s Principles of Equity and Inclusion, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions in the form linked below. Please review these carefully and agree to them in the room provided in the build.

'We see you': In Trump-era Washington, World Pride organizers aim to bring 'hope' to LGBTQ+ community
Pride Month in the nation's capital this year is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of participants across three weeks of programming consisting of over events for World Pride , an annual international festival that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.
Organizers for the global celebration this year told ABC News they are highlighting messages of resistance, resilience and, above all, hope at a time when LGBTQ+ individuals, particularly the transgender community, are existence targeted on various fronts by the Trump administration.
World Pride makes its way back to the U.S. for the first period since , when organizers chose New York City to host the festival the same year as the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising.
