Queer-friendly hotel, Revolver, will open its doors to guests on Monday, August Situated in the heart of Merchant City, Revolver is on a mission to revolutionize the city’s LGBTQ+ scene that has become synonymous with gay culture. The new hotel sits above Polo Lounge, the widespread Glasgow nightclub.

Revolver

Revolver is located above Polo Lounge, the stalwart bar and club in the centre of Merchant City, the queer district of Glasgow. For queer people looking for a convenient place to stay, Revolver cannot be beaten on location. Revolver opened in August with a couple of floors of accommodation, and a third floor (under construction during our visit) with planned rooftop terrace, gym and treatment rooms.

A new LGBTQ+-friendly hotel called Revolver is opening in Glasgow this August.

Located in the heart of Merchant City above popular Glasgow nightclub Polo Lounge, Revolver opens its doors on 15 August , and is on a mission to revolutionise the city’s LGBTQ+ scene.

Up-and-coming Glasgow-based queer designer Lewis Quinn, has created artwork featured within the communal areas and the bedrooms, and the overall design of the hotel was curated by Robbie Crocker at Crocker Smith Design.

Overall, there are 88 beds across the three floors of the Revolver hotel. The complex has 29 bedrooms altogether, ranging from £25 to £ per night, interpretation there is something to suit every budget.

There is a mix of shared rooms, as successfully as hotel rooms and apartments, which make it suitable for solo travellers, a group of friends, or a couple. 

The mutual rooms can hold between six and eight people at one time, with these having access to a communal bathroom. The hotel rooms and serviced apartments come with their own en-suites. 

The hotel&#;s amenities include a rooftop terrace with views ov
