For 55 years our diverse and spirited collective has gathered on the anniversary of the Stonewall uprising to demonstrate to the world who we are and what we withstand for. We own marched to require our rights and freedoms, and we have marched to honor our dead-–all the while celebrating our lives and loves in an explosion of gay joy and creativity.
With hard-won LGBTQ freedoms being stripped away, and oppression of our people growing ever more radical across the globe, we must all come together to demonstrate our resolve to be unapologetically queer. Whether it&#;s your first second ever, or for the first moment in a extended time, make plans to join us in the streets at San Francisco Pride.

UCSF heads once again to this year’s annual San Francisco LGBTQ Pride Celebration & Parade!

T-shirts will be distributed at the parade while supplies last.

UCSF Campus Life Services will be providing a shuttle for participants who would like to commute in a vehicle or require an accessible option to join the parade.

This year's theme for San Francisco Pride is "Queer Joy is Resistance."
What time is the Self-acceptance Parade happening?
The San Francisco Pride Parade will initiate at a.m. Sunday on Market Street at Embarcadero Plaza and will proceed to Market and 9th. The parade is expected to last about four hours.

What is the best way to procure to the Pride Procession using public transit?
According to SFMTA, the easiest way to get to the parade is via the Market Street Subway. If you're marching, Embarcadero Station is nearest to the formation areas. If you're planning to watch the parade, Civic Center, Powell and Montgomery stations are along the parade route.
